Coastline Plumbing
Coastline Plumbing & Backflow Service, launching in 2025, needed an identity that could hold its own from day one. The challenge with a new trade services brand is earning trust before you've built a track record. The visual identity had to do a lot of the heavy lifting. The brief called for something clean, professional, and memorable: a brand that felt established without being stiff, and approachable without being forgettable.

Discovery
We began with competitive analysis of top plumbing brands in the region. Finding targeting audiences to understand customer preferences and identify key visual themes like water, trust, tools, and professionalism.
We focused on key insights. Blue hues to signal cleanliness, reliability, and water. A bold, geometric sans-serif font to convey strength and modernity. Finally an icon like a water droplet, wrenches, or pipes conveying a universally understood symbol.
Design Process
We explored three initial concepts: wrenches to symbolize the industry, a full wordmark emphasizing typography, and a C monogram inspired by waves and a water droplet.
The client chose the C monogram for its modern, recognizable design. The logo combines a minimalist shape with clean symbolism and structure.

Teal: Trust & Stability | Turquoise: Freshness & Water | White: Neutral base for digital and print use
Carbona Test Black: Geometric, bold, and mirroring piping in shape
Manrope: Readable and consistent body copy
Outcome
The result is a cohesive brand system built to scale with the business. Equally at home on a business card and the side of a service van. Coastline launched with an identity that looks like it's been around for years. You could say the whole thing came together without a single leak.
